Subject: Inverness West City Link Road

The Highland Council have been examining several options for completing the section of road between the Dores Roundabout and the A82 at Torvean.  A series of public meetings and exhibitions were held in the city at the various locations during December 2010. The proposed options and assosciated information can be found here

 

 

 

Subject: New Tesco store begins building work

It has been confirmed in the local press that building work have begun at the new Tesco store on Dores Road. It is reported the new Tesco store will be slightly bigger than its one on Tomnahurich Street. The development will also include a community building, doctor's surgery, four smaller shop units and a fuel station. If building works go according to schedule it is anticipated that the new store will open at the end of July.

 

Subject: Calling Local Groups

Holm Community Council invites any local groups, football teams , etc that operate within the Holm area to apply for a contribution from the council towards their activities etc.

Subject: Joining Holm Community Council

H.C.C. is always interested in attracting residents to serve on the Community Council. The only qualifications are to be resident in the Holm Community Council area and be able to spare a small amount of time each month.
